Today my oven decided it was a computer and locked up. Literally. I was going to bake cupcakes and attempted to preheat the oven. Nope. Every button I tried resulted in a LOC message. Could not cancel it, and the oven door was LOCked.
I decided that if it was going to act like a computer, the best thing to do was treat it like one and reboot. I went to the garage, hit the circuit breakers, then flipped them back again. And just like a computer, once it restarted it was fine.
Go figure.

Perhaps the real problem is that your kitchen has a cupcake jinx! Didn't you have problems with cupcakes the last time???
