Four days of travel for only two days in Billings seems totally unfair, but looking at that sweet face was worth it. We had so many things we wanted to do and people we wanted to see, but just didn't have the time we needed. We spent Saturday morning at Toys R Us where Celestina received a balloon and a crown before checking out nearly every toy in the store. The favorite aisle was where they displayed all the cars and jeeps, ranging in price from "Are you kidding?" to "Yikes!" $799 for a battery-operated vehicle appeared to be the top-end choice. But we escaped with two animal puzzles and a bottle of bubbles, so that wasn't bad. After a few more stops, we went to Lion's Park to play. It's just not the same as it was when my girls were small - the lions are still there, but I miss the merry-go-round and the other old favorites.
Anne Marie made an amazing birthday cake - at her daughter's request it had a flower surrounded by bugs, snails, a butterfly and other little critters, all created out of frosting.
In Billings we were houseguests of a dear friend whose home is handicap accessible, and we truly appreciate her giving up her bedroom and bathroom which were so convenient for Neal. They have two cute little poodles (Daisy & Rambo) so our arrival was always announced in stereo.
Sunday we attended church twice since my former ward is now two wards. Then Neal dropped me at a friend's house where I enjoyed visiting with two friends. I started teaching with one of them in 1970, and met the other one in 1973. Ronnie's home is lovely and always feels so welcoming.
Celestina didn't really turn 5 until the day we left, but we had the opportunity to celebrate with her on the weekend before she spent her actual birthday with her daddy.
Each trip seems to be a little harder on us, and we were happy to stay in Wallace going both directions. We really enjoyed using the GPS on this trip because it was so much help in locating places such as gas and food, as well as the Spokane temple.

I was just talking to some friends about the cars you could drive. I always wanted one when I was little. But they were way too expensive. Glad to see you had a fun trip.
