Living in a dorm with my sister
Climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor of Heritage Halls while in a cast and using crutches
Being in the BYU Marching Band

Performing with the band in Kalamazoo Michigan, El Paso Texas and Stockton California , as well as many half-time shows in Cougar Stadium
Travelling by train to Chicago with the band
Exploring the Harris Fine Arts center by flashlight at night while it was under construction
Living off-campus and painting the mailbox red with white polka dots
Living in an apartment with returned missionary companions
Going on a winter survival trip near Price Utah , sleeping in a sandstone overhang cave, making tortillas and cooking them on a rock near the fire, and skinning, cooking and eating a sheep after someone killed it. (I have never eaten lamb since then!)

Earned BA in Spanish from BYU, and MS in Personnel & Guidance from MSU-Billings
Have held teaching certificates in Utah, California, Nevada and Montana
Taken more than 20 students to Mexico - twice!
Went on a cruise while in Acapulco
Bought dinner for LDS missionaries while visiting Logan Utah
Donated time at a food bank
Donated blood with my dad, with my daughters and alone
Organized a quilt class for 20 women, and made a Lone Star quilt top in one day
Eaten caviar on my birthday
Ridden the gondola at Teton Village
Canoed on the Big Horn and the Snake Rivers, in Leigh Lake and Lake Washington as well as several lakes in Saskatchewan
Served on a jury
Drove through Yellowstone Park during the big fires and had to be escorted through a bad section by a forest ranger
Was invited to participate in the groundbreaking of the Billings temple representing the women in the temple district, and turned over a shovelful of dirt
